I am thinking of lowering my FR+ somewhere between 30 and 40mm but i do not want the ride to be affected, it's already quite firm but i wouldn't want it any hard due to the poor conditions of the roads where i live and my dodgy back. What setups can you guys recommend or should i just leave it alone.

Is it ok just to change the springs, I think the car handles great so its just for looks i want to drop it but i do not want to alter the ride in doing so.

if you dont change the shocks the ride will be pap mate as the standard shocks wont handle the stiffer springs.

itll handle soooo much better with a shock and spring setup.

will be harsher slightly but uprate the top mounts at the same time.

In my experience, just changing the springs won't make it too less comfortable but as above, the combination with the standard shocks won't make it handle superbly, although you should see some improvement over OEM due to the centre of gravity being lower.

A shock & spring package will be your best option/compromise really as to be honest, you can't have lowness and OEM comfort, well I've not found a way anyway. At least with this option you can add front and rear ARBs if you want in the future and have a very tidy set up that'll feel glued to the tarmac :)

Will certainly consider you guys when my OEM suspension needs replacing
Think it's getting a bit tired now at 70k.
Living in North Lincs you are one of the closer dealers!!
