Hi There,

I have been thinking about lowering my leon and getting some cupra r wheels for it. its that light blue colour (was a good price for the car). and its a 90tdi. I havnt done this with any other car i have had as i dont really like the idea, but i think it would look a lot better.

Where could i get my hands on some of these wheels (couldnt find any on fleebay) and for the lowering any places any one knows around farnham, surrey. i thought it woulod be around £150, right guess ish? lowering means doesnt cause any damage right, would it affect the value of the car, or make it harder to sell say in a year?

What are peoples thoughts on how it would look and if there the wheels to go for?

Thsnks for replies in advance, Mack

Cupra R wheels are few and far between. They occasionally pop up for sale here or on ebay, just keep checking. Oh wait there's some for sale now, be quick though: http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=253539&highlight=cupra+r+wheels
and some more: http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=252682&highlight=cupra+r+wheels

There are loads of threads about lowering so use the search tool (top right).

If you just want to lower it without changing the shocks then just get some lowering springs fitted. Look here:http://www.dpmperformance.co.uk/leo...8.html?zenid=4f8f2a3afe667c48dc8054e16b214e9a

Otherwise you will be looking at new suspension (springs and shocks) which is a lot more money.

Ive been looking for cupra r wheels for mine, sadly they are rare, which people take advantage off and hike the prices right up, even on wheels that would need a refurb with crap tyres your looking at £150 per wheel.............. Better buying brand new replica RS4/6 wheels with new tyres for less money tbh and least you know there straight and not buckled or flat spots

Maybe try the dealership to see if they have any in stock ?? Sometimes they do a good deal to get rid of stock
