Low performance, wrong maf?

Hello.
Car is not in the limp mode, there are no error codes..
It just feels slow, like it is missing 30 hp..
It is AQX engine, k03 stage 1...
The other day i found out that ive been using 1.9 tdi MAF for the past few years now -.-
I also tried drivign the car with MAF unplugged...drives the same as with MAF plugged in..
That could be a good pointer towards my mysterious power loss..right?
Weird thign is that TDI MAF logs looks ok.

I tried another maf today, part number 06A906461L, wichh actually isnt what ibizas use , but it definitley made a difference...i gain 1.5seconds from 80 to 160 kmh..however, it is still slower than before, and boost is still a bit on the low side..also there is apsolutely no any values besides zero in block 020...

I belive this MAF is used on engines with wideband o2 sensor, and my aqx uses narrowband..any ideas?
I am 99% sure that i dont have a boost leak..
It seems like car is running on "safe" map...like when MAF is completely disconnected..

Ok, tried new MAF and it is crap -.-
It is a replacement MAF, brand is Eberspacher..
I tried that one because there isnt a single BOSCH MAF in Croatia...
Anyways it is not good...i overreads...my friend spotted a value over 190g/s at one time..
It will put me into limp mode when i touch 4500 rpm..
Here are the codes

2 Faults Found:

17965 - Charge Pressure Control: Positive Deviation
P1557 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
16487 - Mass Air Flow Sensor (G70): Signal too High
P0103 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent

Readiness: 0010 1001

And here are the logs

Seems to me that i have to try to find a original bosch one and give it a go...

Well, i opened up 06a 906 461 L maf and element number is F 00C 2G2 049
That makes it a wideband MAF. So i guess not suitable for AQX engine.
I presume that the right MAF number would be 06A 906 461 D and i guess inside would be element that ends with 040..meaning it is for narrowband MAf..
So, i just bought this...hopefully i will have more luck than with the Eberspacher piece of...poo.

We have a dealership here, however original bosch part costs around 150 pounds here...wich is way to expensive for me..especially because i am not sure if it would fix my problem..
And i would have to wait for it for 2 weeks they said...
So i really wanted to try out some other possibilities first..

They cost just over 100 pounds here too. Only difference is next day in stock! Are you able to return the unit if it doesn't fix the problem?

There is many accounts of the non dealer items being faulty out the box. I know that someone had 5 attempts at getting a working one from a motor factor. 4 of them faulty out the box. Best bet is change it out front of the dealer. Take a log then come back and exchange for a working one if it's not.

Yes really, they are very very delicate and the cheap ones just don't seem to work with these engines very often.

I hope the part fixes your problem. A known working maf off any narrow band 20vt should help you diagnose, if you have access to one.

WEll, got my BOSCH maf and car feels totaly different, boosts better, throttle response is faster and fuel consumptio seems lower :)
I reset error codes i and did samo loging...got 158 g/s from MAF wich is max i ever had..
How long does it take for new maf to accomodate?
Although car is running totaly different, more aggressive, it is still not as fast as it should be.

How are you measuring that its not as fast as it should be? Now you have a working maf, with good numbers, drive it a bit, logging other things, actual vs requested boost, timing and injectors, n75 duty cycle, fuel trims, knock sensors etc to gauge if the numbers all make sense... If they do its fixed!

It's possible the cause of it being slower is a few things, rather than just the maf. But now you have a known good maf then you should be able to narrow it down.

What spec is it? K03? (011) wi a big fmic? Or standard? Good TIP?

From your logs of block 115, it looks like you have a boost leak... You rarely meet requested boost!

Have you checked the pcv pipe under the inlet manifold? They are of the age to be rotten.. Centre of plenum, underneath, goes to the right then down to a t peice.. Check its not split as that will cause you a small leak...still drives fine.. Just not as fast as it should be. I changed mine after over a year of having the car, Took me a while to be bothered to look into it mind, and gained 5 psi in boost and started to meet my requested boost!

Hey, thnx for your help.
Just ignore those logs, they were all made using wrong MAF,
I will make new logs in a few days and post them here.
I have k03 turbo, stage 1, golf5 gti FMIC( very big+additional piping = 3x more volume than standard SMIC), standard exhaust except straight thru backbox.
There is no PCV pipe, i removed it, blocked intake manni as i got oil catch tank.
I guess TIP is ok. Standard one.
Cone air filter.
As for measuring...i record a video once in a while..2nd gear, 30km/h, rolling start and speed up to 180 or 200 km/h...so i use my stopwatch and observe acceleration..
I think my map is still adjusting, so we will see in a few days.

Ok, here are some logs.

Once again my block 020 table is all "0"..
N75 duty cycle seems fine, however boost is still a bit low and it is oscilating a bit..jumps from between 0.75 and 0.9 bar..
My actuator is set at around 14 threads..i tried setting it at 17,18...in that case boost seems much better, more steady, but the car is not any faster...
MAF is new, BOSCH.
Help...

This is a clip that i found on youtube(not my car)...it used to go like this..for example this car goes from 80 to 200 kmh in 19 secs...mine goes in 26..
I also think it is not boost related as my car is equaly slow with wound up actuator and higher boost as with normal actuator setting.
I just do not understand why it is so underperforming..
