Well its back and it does feel alot quicker than before...some side effects from the flow sensor though are on lifting off going round corners the revs do drop a bit and when crusing at 30 the revs to jump a bit but its runs really nice.
Just need a new tyre and an oil change and then i think its going to be time to say good bye.......
Dan, how can you bear to sell her after all that...or is it a case of get rid before anything else goes? i have 2 spare mafs indoors i think, could've maybe helped you out there. when i got mine she kept cutting out, seat said maf and wanted 400+gold coins turned out it was the lambda sensor!
for the record mine ran 132bhp completely standard and was like a bag of spanners at the time, seems to be more often that not they get that sort of reading
not how mine was. plenty of torque at low revs, made it rev alot faster too. cudnt get past motorway speed limit tho (i wasnt trying or ever have passed it )

mine has a full custom ss system with a CAT left in. I have an K&N induction kit and FK ss induction hose...Thats it.
I am with jenk, wouldnt bother running a decat on an 8v....
On my valver with a decat it was almost like there was a low down lag...on the 8v its BANG and the power is there. I wouldnt want to loose that.
Sadly its been in my plans all along to sell up. Ive taken the car as far as i want. Its tidy and still has average milage so think it would be a good time to.
