looking to jump into electric with the leon 1.4 E hybrid but hae questions and need some advice

looking at the 1.4 E hybrid FR at the moment and have some questions. I havent been able to find a manual my local dealers havent been able to provide me with one either. has anyone managed to source one? hoping that Owners, dealers or mods here might be able to help out before i dive into the electric/ hybrid world.
I'm fortunate enough to have some Source London on street charging points opposite my house. they operate at 7& 22kW
does this model only come with a slow charging cable and is it true that it can only be charged at 3.5kW?
source London guy said that the charge point doesnt automatically stop charging when the battery is at 100% and that it could take 24 hours to charge the leon and that I'd get charged for the time i was in the charging bay ie 24 hours???
that's put me right off the car
hes suggested looking at zapmaps for more detailed charging info but there are no Seat's listed on there at all
I can live with the lack of boot space and physical control nobs but charging is a key factor ad possible deal breaker for an E hybrid

Umm, unless I’m very much mistaken (a distict possibility) no hybrid car that can run on electric power only will be available with a manual gearbox.

its a DSG auto box, the manual i was referring to was the tech manual which you get with the car, they've since told me that there is no separate instruction/ tech manual for the E hybrid

unfortunately I need hand controls to( see my avatar) be fitted to be able to drive and they can only befitted after buying the car which makes things difficult , thatswhy i try to research as much as possible before committing

finding it hard to justify buying one of these now with a four hour charge time offering only 40 miles and costing between £8 -£15 as i get approx 350 miles on £ 50 petrol with lots of stop start short journeys in my 1.8 FR petrol at the moment. so reluctanly considering the new Toyota corolla 1.8 hybrid as the lease in my fr has ended

I know the E hybrid uses regenerative braking to charge the battery but interested to know if it also charges the battery if coasting or when driving at low revs like conventional hybrids do?

well i took on Source London about the ripping Londoner's off with their extortionate pricing and the London Assembly took my points on board and called them and were told that they would be introducing a new pricing structure by the end of the year and yup finally it makes using thier charging points opposite my house a viable option now so great result but now just haveto wait for Seat to find some chips and build my car
