Does anyone know how to lock the beeza without the alarm as last night at some cruise near lakeside some :censored: with 4 15" subs kept on setting my alarm off!!! Anyone have any ideas. Another guy there with an ibiza said that i need to lock it with the RCL then twist the lock with the key as if i was locking it again but this didn't work, Then decided to take the fuse out for the horn but the bloody thing still went off!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah...

1) Put key in door
[Key is vertical]
2) Turn to lock
3) Key goes back to normal position
[Key is vertical]
4)Turn key again as if you were locking again
5) Red LED will no longer flash... alarm deactivated

:D

i had a similar problem with mine. At work I park on a busy road and heavy vehicles would set it off (especially when it is freezing outside). SEAT told me if you lock the car (using the keyfob) 4 times in quick sucession this disables the internal sensor part of the alarm. It has worked for me.

Like Forbez says there is a button (a bit like the TCS button in an LCR) at the bottom of the panel where the Drivers Seatbelt is!

If you click this once, shut your door and then lock it with the key fob it will deactivate the alarm until you next unlock the car ;)

This button only turns off the internal sensors tho remember...not the whole system ;)

Yeah i know but enough to stop it going all mental for a bit ;)

Yeah not disagreeing with that, just saying that what I put earlier about the key in the door method kills the whole alarm system...not just the internal sensors...thats all...

You are quite right in what your saying...

That button will turn off the internal sensors, which will more than likely be whats causing the alarm to go off. Due to the deep bass produced by the subs, it triggers the internal sensors.

yup, mine goes off in very heavy rain, i just disable the internal sensor and all is sweet

I did try this but it kept on going off. Will try disabling the whole alarm next time.

Thanx
