Light setup options?

I have a SEAT Leon Mk3 FR 1.8 TSI DSG with full LED headlights and the Media System Plus/Navi System. Does anyone know what the "Lane change flash" option in the Light assistance submenu of the Light setup menu means or does? I cannot find any reference to this option in either of my SEAT Leon manuals. I have this option ticked but still cannot work out what it actually does. The Media System hardware version is 040 and the software version is 0421.

Just when you flick the indicator but not fully. It flashes the lights for when motorway driving only like 4 flashes on indicator i think.

Thanks for explaining this - I thought that option was standard on all modern car indicator control systems (as on my previous Vauxhall Insignia, Vectras and Ford Mondeos), so it never occurred to me that this feature would need to be selected or could be switched off. I wondered if it was linked to the headlights or something.

you can also change it if you get vcds, i have mine set to 4, which feels more useful to me.
