Light at the end of the juddering tunnel?

Hi guys, happy new year before i start. After nearly six months of juddering with my cupra 180 (with phase one cc) and no spare cash to get it looked at, i've managed to cure the problem, or should i say problems, i've been reading threads on here trying to find out what could have been wrong but no one ever seems to post once the problem is sorted so here's what i did.
1. cleaned spark plugs with wire brush because couldn't get hold of a new set (some have been ordered)
2. replaced coil pack on cylinder 3 (fault only showed up the other day)
3. cleaned inlet manifold with some stuff called 10k (made an imediate difference didn't think it would)
4. reset fault codes
i got hold of the free version of vag-com and a lead for it on e-bay.

and hey presto car back to normal, i'm over the moon, I might add that i tryed other things to no avail, but did all of the above a couple of days ago. can't wait to give it some stick when i haven't got the missus and nipper in it.

Have fun mate, it's a great feeling when you finally get the damn thing sorted.

For ages I had problems with erratic idling, tried almost everything to fix it but nothing. Then did a search for it here one day, took some advice and cleaned the throttle boy and ***, what a difference! my journeys to and from work have been a hoot since then :D

edit: just noticed the word w0w is censored, how strange
