Hey guys, any idea if there is a License plate system (not bulb) that fits on a 1.4 Ibiza?

Yes the whole unit.

Im pretty sure the only option available is to change the bulb in the existing unit for a LED one, theres loads on ebay, its the festoon type you need.

I already have a bulb installed, but its not giving me the expected result, and its kind of blueish.

Thats what i am looking for

These look a really good item and error free.bonus.

Looks like they plug and play too.You prob just need to hide away the extra bits I would say.
At 20 quid not overly expensive too.

i have that on my fr bumper for some months now and i can tell they are really really bright
the resistors i didn't put them cause i saw that the plate light was not can bus so i have no error

Exactly, the model for the ibiza comes with a resistor. Should i remove it if i want to install it?

Just looked on here and the bocanegra ,cupra and fr are the festoon type and the ones on ebay look grand.

I have tried 4 different festoon bulbs in the rear bumper for the numberplate lights.

Various prices from £1 each up to £10 each.

None have yet lasted more than 4 months.

Until I find a reliable version I will be sticking with the OEM bulbs.

This is a festoon bulb, it looks blue-ish rather than white-ish. I dont like its result.

ntemis21 should help you with that
