Hi guys...
I was thinking more about the weight loss issue as a means to make my Cupra quicker without remap, and reduce it's demand for V-Power.
Below is a list of uneeded items I have removed from the car and the weight saving I made (I weighed each one in turn) ...if you remove lots of items it all adds up as you can see...I saved 3.5 Stone, - much easier than me going on a diet, - thats the weigh of a small child !
Spare Wheel & Tools = 26lb (replaced by Tyreweld, 1lb, included)
Service books, manual = 2lb
Rear carpets = 3.5lb
Rear Headrests x 3 = 4.5lb
Bonnet sound insulation & clips = 3lb (Estimated)
Reducing washer fluid from 5 to 1L = 9 lb
Various in-car clutter = 3lb
Total weight reduction = 50 lbs (3.6 Stone) = 23 Kg
My car really feels a tad shaper under acceleration and braking now, and my economy and Co2 will be reduced too !
What a very responsible green activist I am, Lol
