LEON - Have I bust my aerial?

Hello,
Bought a new HU to replace my aura hu. Got my fascia, got my aerial booster and plugged it in.
CD player working perfectly but radio reception has gone completely. I even tried plugging in the original hu to see if it was the aerial booster that had blown. The radio reception worked initially but when I tried to put the hu back into the dash it stopped. Could I have pulled the car aerial connection out or damaged the lead, blown a fuse?

Any suggestions greatly received.....cheers:confused:
Also what wire should the aerial booster blue wire go onto?

warning

hi mate if you havent sorted this yet, good luck but a word of warning

vw used to use blue/white wire for aerial amp power in radio power plug. they have done away with the power to aerial i think, but now the blue/white wire is a speed sensor connection......

i know as the past 4 weeks have had speed sensor issues after i ,istakenly connected amp/elec aerial output to said wire.... no damage but very annoying. good luck:shrug:

Sounds like you've damaged the aerial cable to me.
