Hello All,

I'll hopefully be placing an order for a Leon SC FR today. It'll be a stock car as I don't want to wait. I'll be going for the Tech Pack and 18" Performance Alloys and possibly a spoiler.

Colours available are:

Midnight Black
Monsoon Grey
Ice Silver
Candy White
Lima Green

I think jizz white and neon green are a no no! :D

I just can't decide on the other colours.
Silver looks subtle and very classic but maybe out of date.
Monsoon Grey is also subtle and classy but a little dull looking.
Black looks awesome when clean but shows dirt and scratches for too easy.

Help! I need inspiration

Out of the selection I'd say Monsoon Grey, I always think the Monsoon Grey Leon's look very smart. Though the rebel in me wants Lima Green, I'm just not bold enough to try it though.

I think the issue with the Lima Green is that it's a fad colour. If you fall out of love with it, which is likely, you'll hate it!

mrp trust me i was losing sleep about colour before i chose mine.dont like the black at all.it came down to three for me ,allor blue, emocian re and nevada white.i like the allor blue and green but it was a bit too bright and too much.i liked the red but i dont think its mettalic which put me off so after a month of sleepless nights i chose the nevada white.i just think the white shows off the lines more on the car.what helped me is looking at cars in the flesh as the colours on the website can differ slightly.ive seen a couple in silver and that coloue suits the car but ive had silver on my previous two cars so i wanted a change.good luck in choosing.

My current Ibiza FR is Nevada white. Such a nice colour and always looks clean, no matter how dirty.

They only have Jizz white available as a stock car so not for me.

I love the Allor Blue but it's not available and I suppose it's too much. I love the Red but it's common.

I think I'm going for the Monoon Grey. I've always liked Grey cars, it's timeless and can look mean if done right. I'm sure it will look great polished up.

I'd go for the silver. Loads of grey FRs about, silver is surprisingly rare and looks very smart.

Silver was my initial choice, but the colour being out of fashion put me off. Any examples about?

The only down side is that white is impossible to get a nice shine. The white just absorbs any reflection. Such an easy colour to look after though.

Very happy with my (as others have said) fairly rare Silver, being a somewhat out of date person. Can't wait for flared trousers to come around again, so that I can dust those down!

I agree the Monsoon somehow looks good to the 2015 eye, but I wonder if it will seem that way in 2018. Of course, if you trade your car in every year or two...

Monsoon Grey looks very good in the flesh - it was a choice between that and Emocion Red for me. I went for red though ;)

I've asked for Monsoon Grey, Ice Silver and Midnight Black - in that order.

I'd be happy with all. But the Monsoon looks to have a nice depth to it.

I think Monsoon Grey suits the shape and lines of the car best, and it doesn't show the dirt too badly either! I'm saying that as someone who before I bought my new Monsoon Grey Leon 5-Door FR in 2013 would never have even considered choosing a grey car!

OP, go with what you like. Don't worry what other people are thinking...it's your cash!

Personally, I was torn between monsoon grey and ice silver. Having seen both in the flesh I preferred the rarer silver. I think it's quite classy, shows of the lines well and contrasts very well with the darker features on the car. Silver is due for a comeback

This is a link to ice silver Cupra 290 I've ordered, it should give you A general idea of the colour. http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classif...dcars&model=leon&keywords=Cupra 280&logcode=p

My vote goes to silver or monsoon grey buddy. My current car is white and it feels 'so last year' now.
