Leon FR Tdi Servicing

Just had our astra convertible serviced for £98.

Now my 7 month old Leon Tdi FR needs its 10,000 service....3 quotes!
Seat Autoworld Sheffield - £170
Ted Johnson Barnsley - £180
Seat Autoworld Chesterfield - £190

This is discusting! I know its a diesel and oil is expensive, but come on is it worth £70-90?

My 10k sevice was £84 and my 20k was £192.

I shopped around as another dealer quoted almost double this. Also happened to be an Arnold Clark dealer so wouldn't have touched them anyway.

Cheers, if the warrenty isnt effected I am going to some back street place.

Even with 10% discount with Ted Johnson, £162 is still a complete rip off.

This is not much help to non-Northern Ireland members but I managed to get my Leon FR TDI booked into Ladas Drive SEAT, Belfast for £134. (Courtesy car included)

They originally quoted £170 but they matched my cheapest quote (that wasnt even from a dealer) as I bought the car from them a few months back ansd I said I would rather use them.
