You can take the switch apart quite easily so you could presumably take the actual switch out of a rear one and put it into the larger trim of the front passenger one.

I'd thought something along the same lines, but didn't want to say anything till I'd actually checked it out.

If you need a new switch, ie. something's broken (and it's not the surround) then I can probably get a rear-window switch to you. I'll see how easy it is to pop-out ..... pretty easy I think cos I remember taking the whole panel out of the driver's side for something

Knock a quid off for the surround ;)

oh and sorry, i'm not sure if you were breaking your leon/toledo but dont spose you have a centre air vent with the red painted knob up for grabs?

Now that would be VERY helpful! :)

lol, at least I now know why that window won't wind up, time to find the little window thing!

All but the drivers door is missing the windows off the switches, shame you cant just buy them to glue back on.

Where can I source these switches? Am I right in thinking most Seat Leon/Toledos will have them as well as the Mk4 Golfs? might take a trip to a scrappy and look for a Golf if that is the case. (I've not seen a Leon at a scrappy before *touch wood*)
Otherwise have to keep trawling Ebay...

Sorry to bump this thread, but three of my switches are corroded (everyone except the driver side, thankfully) so I need some replacements.

I'm being a bit of a cheapskate here, as I don't fancy spending £75+ on getting them fixed as it seems slightly excessive; I already have the housing etc, just need the switch.

I've phoned a couple of car breakers and they said they rarely get any Leon stuff in, any suggestions as to where I can get some from, or should I just pay the £75?

Cheers :)

Many thanks for the suggestion; don't really know enough about these things but at a guess I think you're right - you probably can't separate them :(
