For that money go for the Vrs, same engine which can remap to the same and a lower millage/better spec good car for the same money!
No brainer.

When I was choosing my car took a VRS estate out for a test drive - great performance but the brakes inspired no confidence whatsoever. The LCR to me at least seemed to be better screwed together and a better package overall. Like has been said on here before its all about choices and compromises. VRs massive boot and more space. Leon better handling and probably overall enjoyment.

You pays your money and makes your choices - best of luck.

There is a certain stigma still remaining with owning a Skoda.

Anyone who looks down on a car just because it's a Skoda is someone who's opinion is utterly worthless.

I'd have an octy any day and I think if I was buying a new car I'd swing towards the vRS but I'd make sure and get it mapped.

not entirely sure but, i think the estate has smaller brakes than the hatch, has smaller wheels for deffinate.out of the box its like comparing a leon cupra to a cupraR,not a massive amount of performance difference, but there is a difference.
i think the idea was leon cupra v VRS ;)

How about a Leon Cupra with next to no miles, virtually brand new and with a slightly bigger boot?

Roll on the 20VT Toledo. Recommended. I got mine for pennies.
i missed the boat on this one too, they started going for great money just after i bought the vrs, sauls is the only one i have seen, and it looks spot on
