Well,i was hoping to be putting up the results of having my Custom Code Remap done now,but there are problems.................................the bad new's is that having travelled a 150 mile round trip to have it done today, the results are that my car has a LCR ECU but the dealer updated it the day it went into their workshop before i bought it,and it is now running a late model Audi S3 map,and custom code have not seen this before.

BUT....................................

The good new's is that

a)Bill Brockbank is an extremely nice guy to do business with

b)a remap is being written specifically for the car which will take into account the other things Bill has managed to sell me (at reduced cost due to the above) and

c)he has pursuaded me to take things a bit further with the other things i have planned,so over time the brakes etc will also get done

So,this is all going to be done by next Saturday.........................fingers crossed!!

Sorry we did'nt have enough time to sort it for you today with you having to get back to work.. would have been very close to making you late in that instance. Joys of software versions on same model number ecu's. More common on Audi/Skoda I am told for dealers to do reflashes on updates, but your LCR was the first Seat I've come across which has had a dealer reflash. Odd combo of latest S3 code inside an LCR box.
~Other makes of tuning code dont take starting software version number into account, but CC bases all its tuning on base code as it came with. The code is ready about an hour after you left (which I guess you dont want to hear) as it took less time than initially thought to build the new code.
All ready now for you, as will be the other goodies are very good prices as a "thanks for being patient" Thankyou.

See you next week Paul...
it will be worth the wait m8 :)

Well,it has been done,Custom Code Remap,Forge Diverter Valve, and Green Panel Filter.

I have to say,for most of the 70 mile drive home,i was not particularly impressed, however, once off the motorway and out of Bristol city centre,it started to make a lot more sense......................a couple of my favourite corners on the way home can only be taken at part throttle in third now, instead of full throttle before the remap, and the acceleration between bends in fantastic. It also sounds a bit better than previously, but it may have to have the exhaust done now aswell!!

So,overall,very pleased.................cheers Bill!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:funk:

I was the same, not overley impressed until on the motorway. Pulling in 6th is nice.

There will be a fair bit of adaption too, it took a few tankfuls of fuel before it will really come into its own.
