Hello all,

Probably a stupid question, but I'll ask anyway. I have a 2003 Leon Cupra 1.8T. Its not used that much and I wanted to connect my trickle charger (a CTEK XS800) to it. I've used this before on my previous car, however, when removing the battery cover on my Leon I noticed a number of red cables which seem to connect to the centre of the battery (in addition to the usual Positive and negative cables). I was wondering what these were for, and if I was OK to use the CTEK charger as normal?

Thanks in advance for your advice!

Yeah just connect it to the main terminals as you would, the other red wire goes to a fuse panel which sits on top of the battery and are for the fans air con (i think) alternator plus others.
