Having talked with Mark we think there might not be too much of a problem since I have the step-down version. Don't really think the revised 3" inlet will help all that much.

In any event things are off for this weekend as Kev has disappeared off to Deutschland so got no injectors and stock Stage 3 ECU to drive it to Revo for the mapping.

Me, Mark & Lorna may well have a BBQ and a few beers instead!

I honestly think that it would make a difference (obviously I don't kow for sure though!), but it's academic if they have trouble with the six speed fitment.

I was going to ask - is this the first GT2X Revo will have done? Out of interest, who is it that actually does the mapping?

The step down from stock to the 'unrestricted' is very small

Looks bigger difference on the pic on the website, the larger one looks ****ographic in comparison:

Funny step on the inside of the 3" though?

But I think it's the two "sharp" 90* on the standard inlet that don't look so good.:

Website says +40bhp and torque...
Academic though, doesn't suit 6 speeds. Can always upgrade it later.

Perhaps it was a bit warm today, but good turbo fitting weather nontheless.

Does it fit :D

It was 32.5 by us - quite crippling. Plan to do w/e 22 July as need to get the injectors and a stage 3 revo mapped ECU in order to get it to Kev to get it properly mapped.

was way too hot yesterday just rehanging that DP!

You were under the car so you were in shade - don't know what you are complaining about. Could have done the manifold at least but NO you had to mown the lawn. Honestly just don't know where your priorities lie! LOL

they have a clue, since they've done some in the USA, but this ones a test bed

I would love to do it in 36C heat (that's what it's been here today) but I would have flacked out & I don't like doing stuff when I know I'm not functioning correctly.

I was meant to remove my turbo/manifold this weekend as i believe one of the gaskets has gone! Either cylinder head/manifold or manifold/turbo! Went round to my mates pit got underneath and since having it lowered slightly can't even stand up straight, and he had lent his axle stands to someone, so that plus the 32'C heat (not quite as bad) i thought feck it!
