Leon 1.8 Se 20v

my parents have just bought a 1.8 leon 20v se in yellow from DROITWICH SEAT, any1 ever owned one??
wots the performance of them like??
wots the economy like??
does a cupra front bumper fit on them??



serioulsy thinking bout buying a LCR front bumper for my cupra tdi, do they fit on easily???
ive noticed LCR have different grill slats above the bumper, are they easy to get hold of??

I've got one. My budget at the time couldn't stretch to a 1.8T. Still happy with it. On average I get about 400 miles to a tank. I'm sure there are people that have put the cupra r kit on the lower spec cars. No idea how easy/hard it is though.

Iv got one aswell X Reg with 147k on the clock.. Running fine.. Its the right amount of speed for me.. not exacly slug but not exacly your cupra.. But its quite good. Petrol goes down like a bitch but oh well,

I test drove one before I bought my 110bhp diesel leon a couple of years back. It was quite good. Quiet and responsive for a non turbo car.

the 125bhp 1.8 20v engine is great......only down side is there is not a lot you can do to it to up the power as it is aturally aspirated.
my tolly is heavier that the leon, and i get around 300 miles to a tank......with rather excited driving!!!
a cupra front bumper will fit on it....i have one for the tolly....you need to get a few extra items tho.....some guide profiles and wheel arch extenders.....is worth it...i think it looks great!!!

thanks for the comments, we pick it up friday afternoon, my cupra tdi has to go in for a turbo intercooler leaky problem (under warranty of cause)

looks like i'll be razzing around in the old rover 220sdi until we pick up the leon 1.8se



i'll let ever1 no how it compares to a cupra tdi when i get a drive in it, anyway, heres a pic or two of the cupra

The bumper is currently sat in the garage with all the little bits i need to fit it. am trying to find a good spray shop to transform it from Platinum grey to steel grey......with out loosing a few limbs to pay for it!!!!

i am also a few thousand miles away and wont get back til april to carry on the project, but rest assured..........come April i will be on it and photies will be a plenty!!!!!
