Yeah - its not the bulb because it works now and again. I have still not had chance to fix it cause it gets so dark so damn early these days, probably will have to wait until this weekend.

I've had this twice, the indicator working intermittently, and both times changing the bulb fixed it! It's really not that complicated.............

I have taken off the casings by the indicator light and by doing dome twisting etc the indicator works now and again. This may sound like a dumb question but how they hell do I get the bulb out?? there is a connector into the bulb casing and a connector into a socket on the main beam headlight area.
Which of these should come out and how much force should be applied? It seems to me it must be the 2 wires that lead into the actual bulb casing which need to come off but without using brute force and risking breaking it or trying to take off the wrong part I thought I would ask some advice from you peeps.
The manual says to push the release mechanism to release the connector but I cannot find anything like this!!

As you can tell I am a novice at this sort of thing.:D

sorry to dig up an old thread but a bit of maybe useful info.

I've had this problem intermittently for ages and the trick of bending the contacts out always worked for a while, but problem kept coming back

This week in frustration I went to the stealer and bought a new bulb holder (£5.24 inc. VAT). The interesting thing i noticed is that the design inside the holder has now been changed, the contacts appear of a better design and less cr@p than the original.....

hopefully this will sort the problem permanently....here's hoping!!!
