I've noticed today that I've got a blown fog lamp bulb and a blown sidelight bulb.

I was thinking of replacing these bulbs with cree led bulbs.

I've had a look on eBay and they range drastically in price.

What are peoples views and recommendations.

Thanks

Careful with the fog light bulbs. I bought a set off ebay that wouldn't fit even though they were H3 fitment. Issue was the diameter of the bulb and probably the length if they would have went in. I did manage to get a set that did fit, less than £20. Don't imagine there will be all that much difference between the cheap and expensive ones.

Thanks for all thehhelp

I'm going down the hid route. Can't make up my mind on whether to go for 4300 or 6000.

What have people gone for 35w or 55w. Are there any benefits of the 55w. Do they put any extra strain on the electrical system.

Just go 35w, 55w makes no difference. Also doesnt give extra strain as the normal halogen bulbs are 55w as well :whistle:

4300k = yellowish white
6000k = blueish white

I would sync it with what you have in your dipped lights.

So if the normal halogen bulb is 55w then it would be safe to run 55w his.

Does anybody know how long a standard h3 fog lamp bulb is and what the maximum length bulb can be fitted in the fog lamp.

I've been advised to stay sway from led h3 bulbs.

Has anybody ever used a his kit in their fog lights.

Is it a simple install.
