Great news! I had an email from the leasing company (UK Carline) yesterday, unfortunately no updates. Car still showing as "In transit from factory" which it has been since 15th October.

They still believe it's on track for an end of November delivery, but I'm getting less and less confident that's the case each day that passes!
Yeah, it's a rollercoaster of a ride, but things do look like they are improving.......... hopefully!

what did you drive before this car, also how easy has it been to get used to the hybrid controls
I used to drive a volvov40 D4 on a automatic since driving this car as long as you get in your head that you have DSG tripline gearbox which is really easy to use and dynamic chassis control the ride is not comparable . In cupra mode it hardens up the suspension so road bumps come a thud to the cabin(like my v40) but if put in comfort mode it softens up the suspension moee like driving a mercedes over them so soft and not feeling you left your vertebrae behind, more i would compare a Jeckal and Hide characteristic on the car , it gives you what you need let alone an individual mode that allows you to choose how you would like engine dampners etc I've not messed with that yet lol.

In a nutshell I'm so in love with the car it can give so much on your drivestlye comfort and is all configurable including your steering etc.its a whole new level of experience to me cant wait to go home from work now lol just for the record you wont find anything as easy to get used to hybrid or the gear box effortless

The mrs has a formentor and i used to drive a 2018 seat leon so im used to the DSG and ride style, just not the hybrid stuff but it doesn't look that difficult to be fair. I just want the car now apparently its on its way to the UK so hoping in the next two or 3 weeks

I haven't driven a hybrid Formentor/Leon but I have driven my dads F30 and G20 330e and it's brilliant, you can relax and drive sedately and make use of the electric range. But it still has the performance when you need the hybrid power combined, you won't be disappointed

Same, I ordered with UKCarline (early May). On Monday they finally told me its in transit from factory (was week 37 build). They've said end-Nov to mid-Dec for delivery. I've received my reg and finance docs as well.

Same as you and same as @MrJenkins - email on Monday "In transit from Factory" - same status as last week. Could be on a boat, could be at port - UK or Spain. Who knows :p:p:p

Good news for me today, had an update from my leasing company that my Formentor had arrived at the dealership earlier this week and we've agreed a delivery date of the 24th of November (next Wednesday).

Still not holding my breath until I'm holding the keys to the car however!

Well as a fellow UK Carline customer, same date ordered and same spec as you - I hope I get the update as well like yours!

Congrats :) :)

I got the dreaded call today that my car has been delayed from January to July. Order placed in September with only paint and pan roof selected. Deposit going down on a pcp deal tomorrow with the car already in the uk. Should be on my drive within two weeks!

Wow! I ordered mine at the end of Oct for an end of March delivery. I really hope it’s not going to be a July (or later delivery). It’s looking like it could end up being something like that though! :-(

If you haven’t added optional extras I think you’ll be fine. The guy from select car leasing believes it’s because of the pan roof. What have you ordered?

Ahh ok, fingers crossed then! I’ve order a V2 hybrid with no optional extras. I’m also hoping that the hybrid goes in my favour as manufacturers are trying to achieve emissions targets so are generally prioritising them (so I’ve heard…might not be completely accurate).

Can't see there many semiconductors in a paramedic roof lol.
I think you’d be surprised then - all the leasing companies/dealers are saying that if you choose the panoramic roof as an add on then to expect a longer lead time.

Even thou they look so nice think of be more inclined to wrap the roof gloss black for a least lead time🤔

My last update from Leasing Options was that car was stuck at port, seems to have been there a while. Should have been at dealership Swansway Cupra Crewe on 18th Nov, but that's slipped. Now getting on to a 7 month wait since ordering and don't think I can wait anymore
