There aint no guide, you just need to secure it to the bumper, and line it up correctly.
You can secure it a number of ways, i drilled holes in the splitter and bumper, and riveted them together!

Others have used self taping screws.

should have been fitted as standard though like the leon imo. Really finishes the front end off without looking non-standard.

Yeah i agree! I think the front bumper looks a little high because the bottom turns up so this levels it out ;)

I dont think it will look as good on normal suspension but once she is slammed i will be like

Wonder how much it would cost to have a mould made and it made in carbon.

Think i'll get one on order for me to collect when i return from my jollies :)

Trust me, for the amount of times you scrape them, carbon fibre will just get chewed.
For example:
£18 piece of black plastic + kerb = maybe a few scrates, or worse needs to be refitted. Worst case, spend another £18

Estimated £120 carbon fibre splitter + Kerb = Few scratches? or maybe it snaps! Worst case, spending another £120+ for something that again, may not last long!

Robdon has been there and done it, think he smashed his up on a speedbump, or his drive!

Fitted mine's during the week. is a piece of cake to do. The splitter has 2 raised bits in the centre that need cutting off so it can sit flush against the underside of the car. Then use a drill to drill holes along the little ribbed bits right along the inside edge of the spoiler and about 4 holes in the centre of it. Fit it up against the underside of the car fololwing the lines of the bumper round to the wheels and use tape or clamps to secure it in position then use self tappers to screw through the holes you made and screw right into underside of bumper. Trim off the ends with a hacksaw as it is slightly to long at either end. job done.

hope this helps
