Hi folks, im gonna be buying me either a LCR or FR in January 08 but need to satisfy one important fact b4 i make my decision I currently drive a Corrado VR6 with an LPG conversion that ive ran for over 7 years but due to there only being space for a skinny tyre in the boot then I had to lose most of it to an LPG cylinder. Now with the LCR I think im right in saying that theres a full size spare in the boot thus when removed would make a nice recess for a teriodal (doughnut) shaped LPG tank and id get to keep the boot space!

Now is this spare full sized on both 210 and 225 LCR's and please please give me a better actual size of the recess dimensions, obviousley realising that a 225/40/18 wheel fits in which equates to roughly 56 cm's in diameter.

Thanks in advance and i wouldnt normally ask but this could be the differnce between a 50 or 60 litre tank and that extra 10 litres is well worth it.

On my Cupra it's about 27" (690mm) across at the widest point. Aprox 9" (230mm) deep.

However, the good news is that the wheel well is not round. The side by the boot lid is square edged, giving you lots of extra volume :)
