Hi,

Is it me or has the second hand value of LCRs (dealer prices) increased over the last month?

I've just been looking on the Seat website (approved used vehicles) and where as last month there were a few knocking around for £13,000 this month they seemed to have risen in price to around £14,500 - £16,000?? I can safely say that LCRs seem to be holding their value well....

I would buy privately but need to trade in my car as part of the deal...GUTTED :-(

Cheers
Alex

This is good news, wonder what will happen to LCR values when the new Cupra comes out.

I hope it won't be a huge dent, perhaps the "R" badge (even though it's now been dropped) will hold a level of desireablility amongst petrol heads.

That is unless they eventually release an "R" as a special edition.

My car is on 3 years finance, it's an 03 210 "R" and will probably have about 60-70k on it when I come to the end of the agreement (in June 2009) Wonder what it will be worth then? Might have to sell it after 2 years if the values plummet.

If it's worth 5-6k I'll be happy.

Yup, when i looked at a few dealer examples last week the dealers were saying that the cupras hold their value amazingly well, especially in Grey and Black
