Yup as above G2232's post
There is an easy way to remove the bumper, it takes about 10 mins extra on the way off but save possible DOH!!! when removing and easier to put back on.
Remove all the wheel arch liner screws forward of the front wheel, both sides. Pull liner back to get access to the top of the bumper between the wing and bumper. You'll find two small nuts there, either 8 or 10 mm, think 8. undo two at each side. After removing all the other bumper bolts the bumper should just lift off.
If you don't remove the two bolts you have to do some scarey bending and pulling of the bumper to get it off

Plastic welded?

Wouldn't stick a badge over it tbh... makes it more obvious that there's something wrong with it and looks like a bodge to me :(

i'll get some silicone before i attack it then & the badge is now on my nephews bike so i can't stick it on if i wanted to!:D

Had a cuppa and went back to work cutting the old grille off, nearly got all the plastic welded bits off and OUCH!!!

slipped with the knife.
Been in A&E till 1:30, won't stop bleeding, got to go to theatre tomorrow and it looks like i'll never be able to feel anything with that side of my thumb again:doh: (cut through the artery and a few nerves)

car's now in bits down the drive and i've got no chance of putting the bumper back on anytime soon:censored:

+ this took ages to type with one hand!!!

Oyah that looks sore mate.

On the bright side you might not need to put it back on yourself... thats the hard bit. :)

that looks painful mate, when taking out middle section of grill for the bumper, there is a way to push it so it falls into the bumper, and twist it and take out, this way you can weave it at an angle through the bumper, i never needed to take off, sorry for that bit of news mate, anyways, hope your finger gets better mate

crikey, that looks painful. if you're struggling for somebody to help put it all back together then why not suggest having a local meet at yours to get it all sorted out?

Brilliant, clutch control and parking in gear it is then, what did your doctor say about driving?
Watch yourself, you might not be insured to drive with an injury.
