LCR front ARB problem :

It started squeaking again so I checked it today. There is a flat ring between the bushing and the ARB itself. That ring was splitted and had began to tear up the bushing. Managed to slide the flat ring down the arb a little, but now the bushing don't grip the arb pretty much.

replace with some powerflex bushes, fit and forget.

already replaced with polyurethane bushings... those are the uns beein eaten up.

The problem is not the bushings themselves but that flat ring cover thing (do not know what its called) thats between the arb and the bushing. Its broken into pieces and eats up the bushings...

So now one one side I managed to push that flatring further down the arb but that left a little 1mm space between arb and bushing.. Kinda hard to explain this..

this is common on Cupra R's. just replace the bar. 60 quid from dealer!

Im getting my coilovers installed next week so the garage might get the arb in time for that.
