Would the charge pipe of a LCR fit on to the ibiza? Like hoochs ect?

i know i need to get a golf washer bottle and re-route my cooler pipe work to the other side....
Just that i did some logs today and i was getting 6 cf's over 1 & 4 cylinder and 4cf's on 2&3 cylinder... on tesco's 99 fuel...

Im getting 26 on the ami temp on vag com with a few good runs on hard boost...so the temps are good..But me and curzon were chattin i dont think the THS can flow 280+ bhp...Even tho my IC pipe work is all uprated...

Any ideas?
ive replaced new fuel filter and spark plugs for some ngk ones?

If it's the same as the TT pipework then it should do yes. It's 57mm IIRC.

One of Chris' previous threads touches on this: http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=186180 :)

Haha i was ''just searching you name then'' As chris mentioned that you was gettin a custom forge one made up ? this true?

yeah im going to txt ryan now see if he can knock me one up simular to this that dave had..

;) Yeah - I'm in talks with Forge, Pro Alloy and RS Fabrications at the moment as I think that for ~£700 (ie circa the price of the Forge and Pro Alloy kits) you can get a better setup for Hybrid power than the standard kits offer - just a bit more hassle. IMO the pipework is a big restriction on some of these kits and something that gets overlooked.

I'm planning on replicating the AM Motorsport FMIC (Chris' old one) with a core of 540x170x65, using 63mm (2.5") custom made aluminium pipework from RS Fab (booked in for end of Feb). This will require some brackets to move the rad back (like the Pro Alloy), smaller washer bottle, relocation of a horn and more than likely some minor bumper trimmage.

It's a bit of a trade off with the core whether you go taller and thinner for more cooling surface area, or shorter and thicker for more exposure to the air behind the mesh and better flow from the adjoining thicker pipework.

all id need would be a fmic as i have all the throttle body side pipe work which is 68mm and is the charge pipe side But the stock charge pipe is 50mm ID which is tiny....

The Uni cooler might be ok..but this needs to be sorted,Just txted ryan now seeing if he could knock me one up..

:) Any half decent custom exhaust place should be able to do it in stainless fairly easily. It was difficult finding somewhere that mandrel bends ali.

:) I'm planning on running this with a phenolic intake mani gasket and water/meth injection (50:50 mix) for uber cool intake temps which should also hopefully allow me to pull some advanced timing on a CC3 map and squeeze a couple more ponies out of it. That's the theory at least.

284 on a standard GT2X is doing pretty well - what are your hopes from the hybrid?

Kinda wishing I'd gone IHI now, factoring in all the extra things I've bought to squeeze the most out of this hybrid K03S has got me thinking a few extra hundred quid may have been worth it to see over 300 BHP on a 16G, with less stress on the turbo. As long as I can hit 280 I'll be happy, the one bonus being I shouldn't have any lag to deal with

thats a Est mate....but star mapped it for beattie & robdon and they pulled that figure But they had a forge fmic...as did cupra_matt they make 280bhp+ and holds 1.5bar all day long...

it certainly aint slow or holding back just the cf's are worrying me..

Never had a problem with just using them outta the packet as they are, and the majority of the time i had 0 cf's, 1 at the most. Personally i wouldn't think it would make that much of a difference as there a cooler plug, thats the point in getting them as they are

Your both running small intercoolers really, maybe thats the cause of the cf's rather than the plugs?
