lcr boost gauge fitting

Hi people just got my boost gauge for lcr.Went to the garage to get it fitted and they want £45.I thought thats alot so does any one have any pics to show me where i have to cut the hose to fit the t peice in as i dont have a clue.Cheers

To be honest £45 is not bad but if you fancy doing it yourself theres a guide

That isnt that bad, i wasted more than an hour getting mine neatly through the bulkhead where i removed the wipers, scuttle, lower dash and a pillar. The t piece can be located anywhere on the hose from the DV or as others suggest the hose to the Fuel Pressure Regulator at the end of the fuel rail.

I'd say your actually better putting the T as close to the Inlet manifold as possible to get a better reading

How can pressure change between different points on the same hose though?

Surely you will always get a more accurate reading from the source?
