In some cases i agree but not all as i have had many different set ups in the past which work great;) how much are the uprated anti-roll bars front and back? and is their much difference between Neuspeed and H+R ? thanks.

The main difference (apart from the cost) is that the Neuspeed will fit your car.

Unless things have hanged recently H&R and Eibach don't do kits for the LCR.

People who tried fitting H&R and Eibach rear ARB's found it clashed with the exhaust.........and obviously the front is different too

I have tried to explain it in the sticky at the top of the Leon Mk1 section

On the subject of Springs and Dampers only I think trying something new is what it's all about..........if you do try somthing though then write us up a nice new thread and add some photo's so the whole forum can benefit.

When I modified my LCR suspension there wasn;t much info and one of the main issues was mismatched kits which left the LCR rear end way lower than the front and looking like you have a boot full of concrete. Or the front dampers being for a Golf Gti etc and having nowhere to attach the front ARB.

Thing is you either buy a match damper/spring setup that's tried and tested (like specific Coilovers or Koni FSD and eibach springs etc) or you take the brave step out into the unknown and try something new.

I think we'd all welcome somone trying something different.

i have H&R front and rear ARB's on my LCR. i think the fitment is for the 150bhp Audi TT as that is FWD, i could be wrong though! i'll have a look for the part number when i get home. :) i do get a little bit of knocking on the backbox but its not too bad unless i have passengers.

So iy must be the S3/TT front ARB and the Golf Mk1V rear............did they come as a kit?

As you say rear ARB will hit backbox which is annoying, someone did modify their backbox with a lump hammer  I suppose the knocking noise will stop when back box falls off ;):cartman:
