Well i have heard on here that owners of tdi's have em installed - do a search.
U have to remove an undertray or something but it should fit exactly!

Look under your car, u will find a large-ish hole on each side of the car, like shown in the picture.
Thats where the brace goes.

Do a search to check, but i am sure others have it fitted.

The bar is the same: 8N0199403B. when i ordered mine i asked for the riv nuts and the guy found them, dead easy to fit it doesnt need a special tool just a normal socket or spanner.

Be warned the price has gone up since this post - it's now almost 40 quid for it! It used to be under £20. If you had some nice angle iron i reckon you could make it yourself as it's only a 2mm thick flat metal bar!

With that in mind then perhaps our cars with these mods already on should also increase in value to compensate :)
Shame it doesn't work like that though :(

I laughed when i picked it up from the Dealer, it was about 45 quid including the bolts etc etc - 50% markup in 2 years, not bad eh! Apparently it's to do with branding, there's some mods you could buy back then that don't even come up on the parts database for lesser models - like the W8 light.

£40??!! Sheesh!

Mine was less than £20 when I got it from Audi Edinburgh about 18 months ago, thats a hellish price hike. And as I'm sure you'll have found out, you only need the bar, the bolts and the rivnuts, the washers listed on ETKA don't fit.

SEAT Part nos:

Bar: 8N0199403B
Bolts: N 10467901
Rivnuts: N 90914701

Audi Part nos:

Bar: 8N0199403B
Bolts: N 10417601
Rivnuts: N 90810601
