Leon Cupra Never Again
Not logged in here for a long time my Leon is long since gone.
I did resolve most of the problems many thanks to all who helped on here.
1) The cutting out and idling problem was the throttle body once cleaned it was fine.
2) The clanging/rattling was the centre exhaust mount, which had broken and needs to be welded up, however mine broke twice not long after being welded up so replacement may be the only answer.
Was a nice car shame mine was a dog, looked nice (with aftermarket wheels) and went well, though some of the faults (not all) I suffered were more common than dealers and automotive write ups of these cars would lead you to believe, I met many owners who had suffered the same problems. Seat UK are the biggest bunch shysters you will come across, they try to worm their way out of as many warranty repairs as possible especially the expensive ones.
I will never own a Seat again even if they were given away for free!!!
