So far the boc is beating the Cupra on everything bar torque, great on over takes, the limited slip diff is amazing! Handling is awesome and the ride comfort is miles better! Been too busy driving it to take pictures lol maybe tonight I'll find a nice light area for some snaps!

LSD? I'm guessing its electrical as per the vagcom post? Its great having so many revs to play with lol. Glad your enjoying it mate... Cant wait to see the pictures!

I'm saying the same about my next car....If i get the one i want, i doubt there is much i would change tbh though

What you looking at mate? Or are you keeping that secret? :p

I think my major modding days are done, no point intentionally messing around with a 17 grand car lol!

I second this lol.. My major modding days are over too. Enjoy the car as it is :)

Yeah the diff is electronic but works quite well by all accounts people had good results from upping its strength over on briskoda, not seen it mentioned on here much but I don't really browse the mk5 section.

Hey mate, noticed the car was smoking a bit more that usual and the mpg was only making mid-high 30s. Only manage to diagnose it fully by putting a boost gauge in though.

To find it I jacke up the car, took the under tray off and traced the boost pipes from the turbo, looking for traces of oil at each joint until I found it was a broken lug on one of the coupler clips :)

Hmmmm I don't know what smoking any more is as I only got the car 3weeks ago but there is a massive amount of oil on the pipe that links the alloy air flow pipe under the car to the bottom on the SMIC? I will fit a boost gauge when I have the balls to tap into one of the hoses lol.

There is meant to be oil in the pipes, of there's oil on the outside of them then I would say that's where the leek is. All you need to fit the boost gauge is a bleeding nipple valve, or similar, you can pick them up on eBay dirt cheap, it's a well worthwhile mod for spotting turbo problems and boost leeks etc
