no worries - just wantin a bit of noise from it instead of the usual noise from a diesel.what kinda price was it to get done - i was goin to go to c+c in hillington but i reckon they will charge a fortune:(

Hmm, seems to me that it will just make the noise from the diesel even louder than it already is? You got your car running ok now? I've had a few probs myself, bit scunnered tbh.

Mines still running pretty poor, still feels very restricted, but with the wet roads I can't really get a chance to test properly, the fact it's dark so early doesn't help either :(

Hopefully I'll get the bumper etc off over the Christmas hold and give everything a good clean and see if it helps! What's up with yours?

Maybe something to do with the airflow? Does it not make you just want to trade it in having all these problems though?! Weather has been dismal tbh, so even if it was light, you'd get soaked :(

Keeps making this rattle sound when rolling to a stop. Had new clutch, dmf, slave cylinder and engine mount to try and stop it. Thankfully only had to pay 30% of the dmf cost, everything else under warranty, otherwise i'd be very poor. Took it in again this morning to get the rattle checked, but it would'nt make the rattle noise (just my luck!!). I can't seem to get it to come back now after some very hard driving yesterday. Weird.

Now the top mount bearings are making themselves heard by crunching and popping now and again. Either take this as an opportunity to change the suspension or get rid!!

I was almost tempted to trade in again but I just couldn't bare to part with it, it'll all be worth while once I've put some decent hours into it! Just really need the opportunity to get it into the garage for a couple of days and pull it apart

And as the weathers so bad it's too tempting to half arse everything, just better leaving it all for one good day :)

I keep looking at cars thinking 'i could afford that' lol! Need to stop it. Would like a bmw of some sort but i need to save for the future.

If my parents would hurry up and empty the garage of all their crap, i would be able to get my car in to do any bits and bobs i want to do to it.

Youv off over christmas and new year with you being in the building game?

Mufflerectomy is removing the rear and centre silencers to reduce back pressure and give a nicer sound without going too overboard.

Kind of defeatist seeing as the millteks coming at Christmas :)

are u goin to be keepin your exhaust once you get the miltek sorted. could help take it off your hands if your interested in selling ?:D?
