I'd say it's maybe a bit late to be taking it back to Arnold, they'll probably just do a crap job again any way. Like Garry said I'll kill the rust off and respray the area. Also gives me a chance to get some fresh b pillar covers and wrap them :)

well now the MOT issues are on their way to being sorted my brain is ticking on the mods front again. I'm still planning on going for the turbo back milltek at the end of december but for now I'm considering a carbon wrapped bonnet and some nice bonnet pins to change the look up a bit, would also be beneficial in the fact it would hide the vast majority of stone chips!! what are the views?

bonnet pins? Carbon wrap could look good, i would try and do it yourself first if your handy with that sort of thing, would be quite a cheap mod too.

bonnet pins go through the bonnet on easch side and clamp down, not really much pracitcal use on my car seeing as the bonnet is heavy and has a decent catch on it already but i like the look of them :)

not too sure about trying the wrap myself due to time issues with work etc, but still may be worth a wee project :)

Nope no damage (lucky!)

Went to hellfrauds tonight after work and spoke to a guy who normally is quite helpful, and when I told him what happened he said he had a surprise for me. Lone behold some reconditioned vibe QB-69's. Rated at 800w each. And the price...15 smackers!!! Got them wired in and they are impressively loud, so loud they give more bass than the sub. So disconnected the 12" and made more room for tools :D
