ended up cancelling the de-cat, decided against it last minute to save for something better come christmas.

Just gonna keep saving and buy turbo back milltek, decided it's better to wait for the real deal than to spend money for little to no effect

I have a bonnet bra for mine, was on the car for two days and got soo much abuse for having it on it was unreal so been sat in garage for 6 months. had my misses and her family and my family going on at me telling me how shyyyt it looked but i loved it and it was only a tenner off ebay might go put it back on......

Get it back on they look so good, and all that matters is that you like it.
Nice to see the car being returned to the way it should have been kept.
I am the previous owner and the new owner is right that i was working away for a while so when i did come home now and again i had an S2000 to give some abuse too.
Keep it going with the upgrades and top quality detailing.

Seems it's a small world, had the car down to Trevor for the cambelt a couple of weeks ago and he was happy to see the beast again haha!
It's running great and I've still got a lot planned for it so keep an eye on here for updates if you like

Mate how did you get the bonnet bra on? ive trial fitted it and all is good except i cant get the bonnet to shut lol any advice?
There should be two little holes in each end where you put the little rubber things on each side of your bonnet through and that should be it?

not too much happening in cupra land these days, got a Jetex cone on the way as the BMC CDA was a massive disappointment! finally got round to doing LED number plate lights and some new wiper blades
also gave the interior a good going over with the wet vac and it's looking and smelling a whole lot better
on a sad note i've got the dreaded rust in the door shuts which leads me to believe the doors are needing re-alligned woohoo!

B pillar on both sides, I had it sanded and sprayed the week I got the car but that's it returned in the space of 5-6 months

Depends how it was treated. If all they did was sand of the top coat of the rust then repaint, it'll come back.
Once the rust is in the metal, you need to kill it off properly. Either chemically (best option) or by chopping out the affected area.
Bilt Hamber do some excellent products for killing the rust off.
