This is the contacts in the plug i'm talking about, not the ones on the board.

Yeah mate, thought it was a bit of a long shot tbh. Like i say i think you'll have to take it to a SEAT dealer and get them to test the lambda wiring with their test box.

Also dug out this lambda test procedure for you from elsawin. You should only attempt it if you are good with electronics and fully understand every step!

There is a high potential to kill the ecu if you were to accidentally touch the wrong pins either to earth, or each other!

The second one (B1 S2) isn't a issue as it does nothing except tell if the CAT is working. That can be mapped out.

The first one (B1 S1) controls the mixture and the car can't be mapped until it is working!

Without it working, all fuel trims will be disabled, so the car can't adjust the fuelling to account for fuel pressure, air leaks etc etc.
