The K1 needs some new pads currently 90-95% worn, with the dics slightly pitted, so thought it would be best to change both.

Phone up a garage for a price and he said he got prices from seat and it would be £400 supply and fit.... To me that sounded like a little bit pricy?? I only use him as he does me a few favours from time to time

So after a quick Ebay search I found some Febi disc for £104 per pair, then I found http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SEAT-LEON...arts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item45fd7685bc

Has anyone had any experience with these? or know if they are any good? As for £150 for front pads and dics seems like a fair price.. just not sure on the quality of them?

The OEM price for discs and pads is about £280-290 so £400 fitted isn't a bad price. Unless you are going to do a lot of track days, best to stay away from drilled discs, the only real advantage is better cooling to prevent brake fade, but they can crack between the holes, especially on cheaper discs.

It was only a few days ago I was looking into these.

I spent hours on the internet trying to search for reviews because there isn't very many. The odd few said they were okay but one guy who had done a track day on them said they suffered from fade... no major issue really unless you are tracking it. The only thing that would worry me is the cracking between the holes as Tim mentioned, but I never found a review saying that had happened. I was very close to getting them but settled on OEM in the end because I got a good deal, otherwise I would have taken the gamble. Hope that helps :)
