Has anyone fitted mudflaps to their cupra ? If so was it universal ones or do the dealer sell them for this model?

SEAT don't do mud flaps for the cupra... i asked for them when i just bought my car.

Someone has probably fitted universal one's of some type or another but i just left mine without them!

Ive been looking around for these for a while now. It got to the point where , while i was sitting in traffic i was checking out other cars to see what they had that might fit.
It looks like the ones on the earlier Octavia's might fit with a bit of tweaking - the sills look similar in profile to the side skirts on the facelift cupra's but i havent managed to get my hands on some to see if it is a close enough fit.
Not a great help to you but there maybe something off another make/model that could work.

I like them. I'm not sure if the facelifted LC suffers from the same problem, but I don't like the way the tyres stick out from the rear bumper. Mud flaps would cover it.

You can get (or used to get) mudflaps for the pre face lift leons. Looks like Stu has the old style rear bumper and no side skirts as fitted to the later cupra's. Think thats why we cant get any to fit. The rear bumper on the facelift cupra's flares out abit behind the tyre (if you catch my drift!) and the side skirts are a different shape to the standard sills so seems we cant get "fitted" mudflaps. The search continues!
