As did mine :)

Bet the engine cover says TFSI though ;)

There are no k1's with tsi labelled engine.

Only the FR and facelifted cupra are labelled as TSI iirc.

Think mitchy might be on to something?

My cupra k1 was registered march 09 and is a tfsi.

It comes up as LEON CUPRA TSI, that is what the insurance company would see on the report.

hope this helps mate

I've just bought an 08 FR Petrol - it says TFSI on all the SEAT paperwork and on the engine cover, but TSI on the log book

I think it's just down to whatever SEAT feel like describing the engine as at the time!

Think i agree! The tfsi is cheaper than tsi (dont know why) , but i insured it as a tsi because i don't want to get caught out if anything ever happens.

It's a TFSI all day long bud.. I had an issue with my 09 plate one when it came to the insurance but I just went with that (and it's whats on the engine cover) and my insurance was 549 :) but I am 30!
