k03s turbos

ive just got a k03s 052 turbo, ive read that the 052 versions of this turbo are the silenced versions?
and 053 versions are unsilenced? is that correct and if so is one louder than the other or is it somthing else?

thought so, is it a noticable diference? or just that it spools up quicker?

It makes sod all difference mate, stop worrying and just bloody fit the thing

I have the silenced type on my car and its not quiet. Cant imagine unsilenced bein any louder.

so these turbos just hold boost longer? so i wont notice any neck snapping performance then?

I doubt it mate, especially on Stage 1. Stage 2 would be much better suited to a K03s.

I'm not expecting much from my K03s as my car is already producing healthy figures just on a k03!
