k03s turbo

Is this code a k03s turbo?

k03/52 HI 71000780 , im not sure, and if its silenced version will it still fit on a mk3 ibiza cupra, do i need a shorter pipe that fits there as it is longer?

yep thats a k03s, the silenced is the same length, the only thing you may need is a better reducer hose that goes from the intercooler pipework to the turbo. I have an unsilenced so didnt get this problem.

The silenced has a muffler on the turbo, you will see what i mean if you see one side by side: silenced:

never seen it etched on, usually stamped on mine is. They look as if somebody has done them by hand?

Well i was kinda worried about that, if u save that picture of the plack, and look at it closer(zoom in) it looks etched on, just wondering if thats normal? .... ive won this turbo on ebay so im just making sure it is what it is lol

the only one ive ever seen with custom engraving, or maybe just from a different batch. How many blades on the intake has it got?

B'cos a K03s has 8 impellors, and a k03 has 12.

Hmms interesting, i dont know if thats dodgy then... sent a private message to one of the a&m motorsport guys and he said that its that normal, but i dunno unless i contact seat and ask them?? unless some one can tell if the all the turbo codes are stamped on rather than etched on any info would be nice
