K&N Filter on a 1.9tdi?

Would a K&N style air filter do the same thing on a leon 1.9TDI as a normal petrol engine?

Will it sound the same as on a petrol and make it more beefy?

give a couple more hp, nothing really noticable or recordable, help the turbo spool up a little easier, and sounds a little beefier yes.

Get a green Cotton one. and from Badger5 on her for a discount.

I know its a different engine but the K&N filter was a waste of time IMHO in the FR Tdi.

A K+N cone filter will make more induction noise then a stock filter but you will gain no power and probably lose power on hot days because you are sucking in hot air from the engine bay. If you want better performance get a forced air induction kit like a CDA kit etc but saying that you will only gain a few bhp on a stock car.
