There rather quick to 60! Cupra would whipe the floor with it after that i would say but upto 60 the cupra would struggle to pull away from the 106.

Any way lets not turn this into a cupra vs 106 debate

No i nearly got one once but decided against it

Im sure they are quick but with the cars i have beaten in my cupra i just didnt think they were really on the same 'level' as the cupra

cupra anyday of the week, to 60 would be quite close, but the cupra will still win and past 60 it will be left for dust, a remapped cupra will just abuse the 106 though everywhere imo

Im claiming the 106 will be better round bends though, like a saxo, they can handle well

have no doubts theyd be better round bends...but all ya gotta do is accelerate out of it and within a few seconds ud be right up on their arse!

i rate em well, but they are in a different league over all

106Gti on Tb's was what i was considering before going for the cupra.

I like them alot, even though they are related to saxo's!

My old 106 gti had no problems keeping up with my other halfs type R to 60, which standard is 0-60 in 6.5seconds so keeping up with a cupra would be similar.

Any way i must admit the cupra is a much better car and a modified one would whipe the floor with the 106 on straight roads

Didnt mean to start a gti/vts debate haha. Would be close to 60, after that no contest imo. Got the car - very very happy!!! How do you get mpg on the dash computer up, it was showing but now its showing temperature, anyone? Pics will up tomorrow hopefully. John

ON the stalk on the right handside of the steering wheel ther is a sliding switch, use that to go through the options of what to view.

On your right hand stalk theres a switch that moves left and right, just toggle through the different settings !!
