i brought my lc a few months back and was a little disapointed with the performance it was acctually slower than my gsi so the first thing i had done was a remap and forge 007 dv courtesy of performance tourqe well impressed secondly today i had a 2.5" turbo back reusing the original cat powerflow system fitted i know alot of people on here dont rate them but i have used this place numerous times for my previous cars it sounds and looks great thirdly next week sometime im back at performance tourqe for a pannel filter and rolling road session just curious to see what its producing the next step will be a fmic this is where i need some advive what is the next few steps after the fmic im not really that clued up on engines cheers all sugestions appreciated

think after the fmic, you'd want to go stage 2 re-map then your pretty much covered engine wise, suspension mods and braking maybe, but for more power its prob a bigger turbo you'd be looking at,if your wanting serious bhp gains

i think i would be more than happy around the 300bhp so would a stage 2 map get me near to that figure or would it be a case of upgradeing the turbo but as for the susspension im a bit concerned about this cause a few weeks ago there was some workmen laying a new speed hump so they where directing people on to the path i saw the first car do it so i went got my first wheel up and then got a crunch i hit the bottom of the car on the curb and this was just an ordinary curb so im not to keen on the idea of lowering it and as for the brakes i think im going to start saving for the tarox 6 pot kit and as for a budget that went out the window the day i had it remapped

you would HAVE to go big turbo to hit 300bhp. even the lcr k04 turbo wont flow enough air for the car to hit 300bhp.
