Sold that and bought a green filter, ran that for a year sold it and bought the JR/Jetex. The cheapest and probably best of them all

Would you say that this filter is better than a standard box that's been smoothed and drilled with a decent panel filter in and is this filter going to harm the maf

Jetex filters are dry so pose no risk to the maf

Heatshields are easy to make, heres mine:

for all the bits needed, including paint and tin snips it cost me less then £25

if i were you mate i would make a few and sell them have no doubt if the price was sub £45 pounds people would have your arm of as it looks way better than the ebay we all buy for £25

iv ran my jetex on my lcr for nearly a year now just a couple of cable ties holding it in place and not a single problem. But if it servives the recent crash i may look to add a shield in the future

hi doesnt it fit to the maf sensor he says you can drill and bolt to maff but it looks like the tip comes up short on the lc

Not quite sure what you mean?

hi the guy selling the heatshields on ebay says you can drill the end of the heatshield and bolt the maff to it the same way as the maf fits to the old airbox

I guess you could do that but its extra work, it would move the shield and filter closer to the engine and the heat shield wouldn't line up with the holes to bolt it in (on the LC anyway).

Fitting the extra pipe takes the filter closer to the wing and air feed.

Mine arrived today and it's all oily. Is this ok and will this affect the maf.
