I have a jetex cone filter fitted. I went from a k&n panel filter to the cone filter. The car now roars and you can hear the turbo spool up and the dump valve chuff. Although I do have a forge TIP which helps. I think i paid £40 for the filter which was well worth it imo.

I've fitted the FC-09004 with a 90-80mm hose reducer.

I don't have a heat shield. I was gonig to make my own but i didn't bother. Don't really have any heat soak issues, only when sat in heavy traffic for long periods.

The N75 race valve is from TTS off this forum cost £75 from memory, it increased peak boost by 2 psi in my case.

I haven't had it on any rollers since i've owned it. But it used to be Zboyds old car, he had it on the rollers at Awesome it made around 260bhp. Since i've owned it it's had a jetex filter, N75 valve and a new clutch. TBH i didn't feel any difference fitting the cone filter but the sound of the engine and the dumpvalve was enough for me to leave it on:)

Do you have any pics of it fitted mate???

I am thinking of changing my green panel filter for an induction kit but dont want any MAF issues

What exactly do I need for it to have a nice fit

I've had this on for about 10,000 miles and i haven't had any MAF problems. As long as the MAF is secure then you'll be fine. Here is a pic of mine:

Aswell as the filter i needed to buy a 90mm hose joiner and a 90-80mm hose reducer.

have you done anything different to support your maf or filter as yours is extended

If your talking to me, the filter is supported on the heatshield as the pipework passes through it. There is also a piece of rubber on the end of the filter that passes through an original fixing point! It’s very sturdy! :D

was asking j3rvx who has a similar setup to how mine will be..yours looks great and very secure

If you look closely at his you can see he has the same piece of rubber on the end of the cone that passes through an original fixing point! :D
