chatter normally means your DV is F@cked - not good for the life of your turbo, get a new DV and forget about chatter

Mine doesnt chatter. It spools up nicely & you can hear it well, when you let off the throttle you get a gassy whoosh.

Bear in mind tho, all i have done to my car is exhaust, dump valve & air filter. Ive not had a remap or anything like that so I dont know what it would sound like with bigger mods?

Yours might sound louder?

You wanna ask someone that has a re-map & see what it sounds like on there

well mine is standard for the moment, only just bought it yesterday! am ordering a forge DV today, and a FMIC and a dynatwist. just need to give blueflame a ring to sort out an exhaust. is the forge DV007 the one to go for if i'm going to be doing a K03s?

yes mate, either a forge 007p or a bailey DV30 will be fine

you can still get your recirc sounding almost like a atmos one mate

Dave, does a re-map really make a difference to the sound then?

Yes, you will be venting 15/20psi instead of 7psi

so tempting to get a re-map straight away but i'm getting K03s so there's no point in spending 2 lots of £500! or do you get a discount if you get stage 1 then go to stage 2?

get stage 1, then when all your hardware is in place get stage 2 or custom map, you will pay full money for stage 1, they pay a upgrade for stage 2, depending on map is depending on what price you pay

sorry to jump in on thread but my dv makes a sort of whistling noise when i let off? is this normal, i have an open induction kit and remap.

whistling is ok, chatter or 'whoosh' is bad
