this is a notice for anyone who has a Jabba sport/ pro alloy FMIC
ive had problems with my car and ive just found out why....
I managed to put the problems down to a boost leak, so i started the hunt for the leak.
while i was looking i noticed my map/boost sensor had a fine oil spray around it on the aluminium pipe supplied in the kit.
under investigation, by removing the map sensor screws,i found the 0-ring that runs around shaft of the probe (which is used to seal the sensor) didnt even touch the sides (no comments lads ) i couldnt work out how it was ment to seal the boost in!?!?
i then wrapped half a roll of PTFE tape around the sensor, refitted the o-ring and fitted the sensor. i then took it out for a spin......
HEY PRESTO, its boosting like a gem
currently over the moon
So off you go...go and check your NOW!!!!
please report your findings and i will try to arrange a recall on Jabba FMIC pipes
