My conclusion after 8k and 7 months of ownership, Mechanically the car is great, it drives exceptionally well and looks great, But there are many software glitches and strange behaviours that mainly centre around the infotainment screen but others happen randomly out of the blue many of them covered in this forum, which does detract somewhat from the positivity
I guess / hope over time the issues will get resolved...........

that said, I love the car and generally am very happy with it and will put up with the gremlins inside ;) Cupra Formentor V2 190 DSG 4drive

One year and 55000km without any problems. 2.0tsi 190hp. Just infotainment being slow and laggy for the first couple of minutes, and keyless entry have some issue when moist, dirty and cold.
Today had the second maintenance, and brake pads had to be changed and mib updated to 1899 - feels better so far.
I have a Leon xperience also for 285000km and not a single major issue.

Just fetched mine back today, V2 eHybrid, after update to 1899 and second years service plus a recall for battery module replacement. No issues of note since update to 1896 last year. Mine's only done 9400 miles (15000km) so far. Love it!

Any updates on Reliability? Since we are now 1,5 years further? :D I am in the market for a Cupra Formentor 1.4 eTSI, but I heard some horror stories from one of my colleagues. Might be one time thing. But it got me wondering if more people have major issues like his friend.

Only had mine a week but I've had no issues with the infotainment (I actually like it) and the 1.5 has had no issues when cold so possibly those issues have been ironed out. The 1.4 hybrid is in use across all the brands so probably worth Googling 1.4 hybrid reliability. Another poster on another thread is having issues.

I love mine, had a 2021 VZ2 310 since November 2021, apart from a faulty parking sensor replaced under warranty, had 8k miles of happy motoring, I've just placed an order for another VZ2, facelift ehybrid through work, needing something less costly on fuel, and I really love the Formentor and wanted to stay with it.

I don't think you will find an answer to that question on here I think on any car page or forum, the majority will be people will either seek out a forum or group to complain about an issue or discuss a car problem they are having, because they are looking for a fix or solution and also want to know who else has experienced the same.

When everything is working fine, and people are loving their cars, there's only really so much you can say about that on a forum or group, and there's only so long people can talk about that on a forum or group without threads drying up, so when potential buyers go look on forums, problems and issues is what they will see the most.

Example being, before I placed the order for the Hybrid VZ2, I was looking at a Polestar 2 EV, unable to view or test drive one in my local area due to no dealership nearby, I joined a Polestar 2 UK owner FB page to see what owners experiences were, but, all I saw was people posting about issues, charging problems, range issues, battery issues, infotainment issues etc etc.

Had my VZ 2 18 month and other than a laggy infotainment which seems to be better following a ota update, it's great.
Dealer found a slight transmission leak during a service but that was fixed under warranty.
